Library and Back

We went on a bike ride after work. We went to the library an ate our fruit at the gazebo. Morgan did a great job leading us. She was going about 15 mph.

What a wimp I am..

I was on my rollers the first time in years but even then I have a bar that the front fork connects where the front wheel would be. It has been a long time since I have ridden the rollers with out it. I am going to take a spin (pun) at riding them the correct way.. Here is what it should look like.. (obviously this is not me)

Diabetes and Cycling

Get out and ride, this report came out last week.
A report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, based on data from 2007, said the number represents an increase of about 3 million over two years. The CDC estimates another 57 million people have blood sugar abnormalities called pre-diabetes, which puts people at increased risk for the disease.

The percentage of people unaware that they have diabetes fell from 30 percent to 25 percent, according to the study.

So dust off your cycling gloves, click into your pedals and let all your worries leave you and get healthier.
